Infinix Zero Ultra: An Impressive Phone with Fastest Charging

The phone has two color choices: Coslight Silver and Genesis Noir. The phone first went on sale on Flipkart on December 25, 2022.
Design and Build
The design of this phone is worthy of a premium model. Even if you don’t like them, curved screens can’t help but be attractive, and the shiny silver back is a great touch. But, unfortunately, the design and construction of the phone give the impression that it is far more costly than it really is.
You can preserve the camera lenses and keep them against shakiness thanks to the included cover, despite the camera’s obvious bump. There’s also the Genesis Noir model, which has a leather finish and a glass back.
The rear glass panel of the Coslight Silver edition has a bright finish, yet the ripple design makes it resistant to scuffs and gives the ZERO ULTRA a unique look. The plastic frame, however, is logical given the company’s need to save money wherever possible.
The Infinix Zero Ultra is a little cumbersome at first due to its hefty 213-gram weight. However, the rounded design on both the left and right sides makes it easy to use with only one hand. As a result, it’s easy to grasp and gives the illusion of being much smaller than it really is.
The right side of the phone houses the power button and volume rockers for convenient use. Everything on the left side is spotless. The main microphone and speaker are on the top, while the type-C port, secondary microphone, primary speaker, and SIM card slot are on the bottom.
Display
The Infinix Zero Ultra has a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ (1080p x 2400p) resolution. It’s a curved display with a maximum brightness of 1000 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It utilizes the automatic refresh rate by default, but you may alter it to 60Hz or 120Hz in the display settings.
The phone’s screen brightens up to a level where you can use it both inside and out. However, despite the bright sunlight, For an Infinix device, the screen is rather impressive.
Its AMOLED screen provides more vibrant colors and darker blacks than those of competing Infinix smartphones. In addition, the extreme clarity of the display makes for a really absorbing viewing experience.
Camera

The rear camera records 4K video at 30 fps and 1080p video at 30/60 frames per second, but the front camera can only capture 1080p video at 30 fps. Regarding performance, Infinix could have done better. The Infinix Zero Ultra has a MediaTek Dimensity 920 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. You may add another 5GB of virtual RAM by leveraging the device’s internal memory.
The MediaTek Dimensity 920 is a respectable midrange chipset, but you can find it in phones costing much less than the Infinix Zero Ultra.
Software
The Infinix Zero Ultra utilizes the XOS 12 skin, built on top of Android 12. While the interface’s feature set is extensive, it is not the easiest to use. However, the fast refresh rate ensures a fluid user interface.
The smartphone supports gesture controls by default. An example would be accessing the app drawer by swiping it up from the home screen. When you swipe down from the left side, the settings menu appears, and when you swipe down from the right side, the notification shade appears.

In general, the Infinix Zero Ultra is a competent budget smartphone, but there are a few caveats. Infinix has provided a high-end look and feels with features that aim to complement this. The phone has several useful features, including quick charging (180W) and a 120Hz screen refresh rate.
Battery life is decent, and charging is lightning-quick. Simultaneously, the user interface is terrible. For the brand to succeed in XOS, there is a lot of ground to cover.
